First Sutra Foundation (FSF) started in 2022 as a research-based not-for-profit organization that believes in the Power of Diversity and enables, inspires, and supports persons with disabilities to progress in learning and work. We aim to raise our people’s aspirations, motivate them to achieve their full potential, and support them when they have to make key decisions about their future.
We at First Sutra Foundation envision a world where every person with a disability is passionately, productively, and positively engaged in a career of their choice. FSF aims to adopt a collaborative approach with Government, Educational Institutions, Businesses, NGOs, and Parents to create a Sustainable and Scalable ecosystem around Students and Youth to facilitate their decision-making.
We believe that when businesses and workplaces, open to include the uniqueness of each individual in the organization, everyone feels belong, bring their authentic selves, and aligns with their work purpose. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are the cornerstones of an organization’s success. We also provide training in DEI for both people with disabilities and the public, so everyone can work together to create an inclusive, accessible society we can all be proud of.
Our organization is made up of volunteer and paid staff members – and we work in the states of Goa, Odisha, North Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.
